I know how Gordo feels, I had a teacher that did not give me a fair grade for the work I turned in. I once did a 5 page paper, she gave me a C whenever everyone else in the class got an A. Very stupid. :(

@ari6666666 I agree. The same project should get the same grade no matter who did it or what the teacher thinks the student is capable of. I think the primary moral is you should try your best at everything you do because anyone can do anything if they put their mind to it. The secondary moral is that if a teacher gives you a bad grade, it doesn't necessarily mean he/she hates you. I think the teacher had a good motive, but the way he got there is less than ethical.

I don't think what the teacher did is fair. He said he held Gordo to a different standard than the other kids because he was "capable" of more, but everyone is capable of virtually anything, at least as far as science projects go. He just tries harder. I don't really get the moral to this episode.
