@MrRamminator1 well. im pretty sure he just has 22 by 18 in kicks but 24 inch kicks cost more then 22's , you could check out gretsch club rock or something. but there is not a way of really estimating it

I'm getting a new one when the 18" china breaks. (I'll get the same one again, i love that 18" china). And i don't know when i'm gonna replace the 16". It's currently not a priority.

My priorities are: A new pc, a new snaredrum and a new Shure Beta52A mic for the other kickdrum.

If you have the cash I'd go for a macbook pro (much faster than air, don't think the air's will work well with heavy audio editing) The reason he's wants the Beta 52 over the AKG D112 is the sound, he already has both.

Nah, many agree, I think the cymbals are a bit overkill, but that's how he likes it, and that's how you play drums. It's all about how you want it.

@TLJCBFH Yea man I know what you mean, but it depends on the drum cover. If your playing Nirvana I really dig Ben Powels simple setup. If your covering Dream Theater, then I wanna see a huge set with alot of things to improv with.

We don't hate you! It's a matter of personal taste. Some like small sets, some like large sets.

I do have the same opinion as you when i see a huge set where the owner prefers quantity above quality. So when they have a zillion cheap and low quality cymbals.

If i had only 1000 dollars to spend on cymbals, i would rather get 3 high-quality cymbals instead of 10 cheap cymbals.

Don't want to be arrogant, but my set contains only high-quality cymbals. I just like to vary sounds.
