Is this the same engine as the C230 Kompressor?

@fcmilsweeper9 Different engine I believe, also SLK is a little lighter. You will notice also that as with all Kompressor engines the peak hp and torque are at higher revs, so the SLK should feel quicker at lower revs. (I believe, I'm not a pro)

2.3L 16-valve inline-4 engine

192 hp @ 5,500 rpm

200 lb-ft @ 2,500 - 5,000 rpm

3,110 lb

0-60 mph 7.0 seconds (automatic)

slightly higher compression 9.0:1

same tires 205/55R16

raising the top manually is in it, or you can go to SLK Home Page click on "top operation" then "emergency top operation"

can anyone who owns this car let me know if the retractable roof opens manually even if the oil leaked out of the hydrolic motor?

@jasdelray No it will not, and if you own a mercedes dont cheap out and not have it fixed. My 350's roof just did the same
