Ah64 is not longer the best, Mi28,KA50and KA52 are better armored, for example KA50 got Titanium alloy fitted with Bor and ceramic plates when you shot apache and KA50 with 20mm API Apache got crater and when you shot KA50 with 20mm API it has no scratches. Apache has no survivability systems like russian Helicopters.Ejection seats its very important.AH64 can fire 2km effective with canon like Mi28, but KA50 can fire 4km effective long barrel...

Mi28 can only tracked by stingers&igla at range of 500 meters but Mi28 can shot from 12km with AT weapons and 2km with canon. KA50 and KA52 are more survivable than any other Helicopter with the coaxial rotors,if they lose their tailrotor it can still fly.

@Talshet Problem with the KA-52s and Mi-28s is that the Russians simply don't have enough of them - only 48 Mi-28s and 26 KA-50s and 52s combined compared to over 700 AH-64s in the US Army . Likewise, good helicopters. Don't know how fast production is going in Russia, but I did hear somewhere that there will only be 67 Mi-28s ready in the next few years. Honestly, that is very, very slow.

Production rates for the Apaches are also slow, since they face very low loss rates and the fact that the US isn't in a war comparable to WW2, where mass production was fast. Come to think of it, you Russians were even crazier on military production more than the US right up until the USSR collapsed - and lived in a hellhole during the 90s as a consequence XD.
