Did you have to find those saddle bag covers, or were they just stock? I want to find some metallic black covers for my k100Rs

They were standard BMW items - came with the bike and have gone with the bike!

Cheers - It's now gone off to a new home. And a nice R80 based cafe racer has taken it's place. I'll youtube it soon.

16 valve engine?
AFAIK, the 'choke' lever does nothing more than raise the engine idle speed, so it will warm faster. Choke cable on mine is buggered, so it'll always rev slow, but it'll still start.

been told i'll regret not getting the rt for the fairing as i live in mi but i cant get away from wanting the rs. the perfect bike.
