Today muslims try to avoid this mistake by saying that "it is only referring to the 7 layers of the atmosphere", but 41:12 also says that "the stars are lamps located in the closest heaven". Pfffff! It's too close to be the atmosphere. Also, in 67:5 the quran says that "stars are missiles to shoot the devil"...How superstitious and unscientific!
