Wow! I'm fascinated by the silkworm larva! What do they taste like? Are they alive when you eat them? Are they cooked? I don't suppose you can get them outside of Korea, perhaps at a Korean market in the USA? I thought silkworms WERE larva. Is it redundant to call them 'silkworm larva?'
I wouldn't be surprised if you could find them in KoreaTown. They come in cans here. Warm they taste, hmm squishy and proteiny. Cold they taste like puke. They are usually boiled or steamed.
