  • Nice work brother. Great choice of song to cover, and you sung it fearlessly. Well done!

  • holy shit nice job:)

  • Nice! This must be very hard to sing, well done!

  • How long have u played guitar?

    Great work. =)

  • Very nice! It sounds almost exactly like the original :) Keep up the great work Joe! (Is that your name? I just read your username, and I thought Joe was your name xD)

  • fuck your voice, i am hanging myself.

  • well, alright. i mean, i realize you bring a lot of positive energy to the world, but i won't smash your dreams. do what you feel is right.

  • I'm excited to say that I actually got yo see you play Radiohead live at the Fishbowl. lol Awesome video.

  • awesome

  • thanks!

  • This is really good.

I've been dying for accurate tabs for this song

    any chance for some helP?

  • Eek, eh, that would suck. heh. I don't have it tabbed out right now, but if i ever do you'll be the first to know. Sorry if i've ruined your hopes and dreams.

  • tutorial vid?

I'm just sayin what the people are thinking. lol

  • Hey JoesRedGuitar, are your loops all the same length? Because it sounds like your first loop is less than 2 seconds but in parts you have the full paranoid android chords going acoustic & electric (I'm talking the first half of the song). Is that just your processor effect mixing acoustic & electric so the only loop going is that initial 2 second drum beat? I use the RC-20XL also & would love to hear if you've found ways to "expand" it. By the way, great vocals and real clean guitar.

  • Up until the "rain down" part, the only think I loop is the drum beat which is probably about 2 seconds. I have my guitar running through an effects pedal that puts like a phaser almost sound starting at the first chorus.

I know that you can save loops and change back and forth if you buy a control pedal, although i didn't do that on this song.

    thanks for commenting

  • amazing version i will try to make it great job!

  • Wicked falsetto.

  • this is much better than my version.

Also, we share last names. Though not talent.

  • Why thank you for your kind words. Mines a bit fancier because of the looping station, and effects pedals. Heh. I see you wearing camo. What branch?

  • At least someone who's got the guts to "sing" it! thumbs up!

  • Hey it`s What`s That. And it is really hard to do the guitar and sing it at the same time

  • pretty good. dont you just love looping?

  • I do in fact. I've just been playing acoustic in my room lately, so i haven't used my looping station in a while, but when i play shows, i usually bring it just in case i feel like doing some cool stuff. Thanks for the comment

  • excellent job man dont listen to the people bashing your vocals, they couldnt do half as well.

  • why thank you

  • you're trying to emulate Thom's voice way too much.

    Outside of that, 'twas good.

  • This is amazing! And for a live performance! You have amazing artistic abilities. I wish i did, but I don't.

  • Find a vocalist and start playing pubs, you will rake in the dinero

  • Man, i love that guy. I like the way he was in meet the parents.

  • Awesome video !

keep up the good, all u need to make it perfect is to work a little on your voice.

    Very nice job

  • thats the best cover of this song

  • Amazing use of effects, that was a great cover. I found this while searching for RC-20XL demos and I'm sold. Boss should pay you for making this haha.

  • Thanks dude! You let me know when you talk to the captain of boss, and i'll give you 10 percent

  • i just wanted to say that you play this song wery well but you have to set that part because the chords are three (C-G#MAJ7-A#).

it's just my advise. anyway......i respect you!

  • YOU DO MISTAKES IN THE 7/8 PART

  • well you see, this is my version. I can do what i please, you see? I wish to play the song exactly how i do. And you break internet etiquette rules by typing in caps lock.

  • chill out man, he is just telling you his opinion, you should be glad... i think you did a great guitar job, but you gotta admit your singing is not the best, especially during "what's this" part... i like it though...

  • aw heck man youre just misinterpreting my words. I certainly welcome all forms of criticism, however i honestly don't feel "you do mistakes in the 7/8 part" is an opinion. Thanks for liking my video

  • watched this a while ago ,and was really impressed mate just come back to pass on the compliment mate

  • Man i really like all the loop stuff..and your vocals and this song..the only thing that i didn't like is the way you sing in the final part, it seems like you are crying...but REALLY GOOD version man! not bad at all.

  • Good Job: Here's my version from Italy!

    /watch?v=WVPdXbymi68

  • Good Job! really want a loop pedal now!! Vocals coulda been a tad less whiney, but youve got good ability to be able to hit all the notes. all in all... 9/10!!! =D

  • I think you did a great job on this one. Especially because this song is tricky to play and sing at the same time. The guitar picking is fast and the melody is noticbly slower. kind of like patting your head and rubbing your stomach at the same time. your version is entertaining to me. I can definately appreciate your effort, And your singing isnt that bad taking all into consideration. good job and the loop thing is really cool.

  • Yeah, like everyone's saying, you rocked it. ONLY think I didn't perticularly like was when you breath back in, it's like you put extra emphasis on it and I just didn't like it. Maybe it's just your style, if so, keep it up by all means! ...as for constructive criticism, it could have used a lot less of that. Every other aspect of you covering this song was gold dude! Really great!

  • And I should really learn to proof read when leaving comments so I don't look like an idiot.

  • ha its cool dude. Thanks for the input

  • good job dood. I don't really appreciate the vocals but don't mind me. keep it up! go over my profile and check it out!

  • Good playing and nice effect but i wouldn't advise singing for Simon Cowell.

  • excellent job man dont listen to the people bashing your vocals, they couldnt do half as well.

  • Cheers Joe, Thanks for your kind comments. Watching this has made me want to go and get one of those loops. All the best.

  • Ok but please don't sing.

  • officially my favorite cover of paranoid android

  • I am honored.

  • that guitar slap loop is such an amazing idea! of course nobody can compare to the original, but you did an amazing job!

  • Oh fuck, that was incredible.

  • Thanks!

  • great, dont know why people slagging off your vocals either im amazed when someone can play and sing with rythym as well as yours. 5 stars bro :D

  • that sounds amazing dude, good job.

  • That's excelent, 5 stars to you.

  • Thank you kindly.

  • I really like radiohead, i play guitar and i have a boss rc20 but i'm far from being able to perform like you. Congratulations. Really good

  • Why thank you!

  • i can the whammy parts lets jam

  • I want such a loop pedal!

  • the guitar playing is very good... but you as a singer, mmm..i don´t know..heheh

  • maybe if you dance like thom yorke, it would be more nice.. try it!!!

  • hahaha good idea. i'll certainly try it once i find a good song to dance to.

  • very cool with the percussion . . . I might have to take that idea from you.

  • You did a mighty fine job there on the guitar! Wanna be in a band with me? ;O)

  • Thanks. Be in a band with you? where do you live? probably no where near me.

  • sweet jesus that made me happy as fuck...great talent man..had to get my guitar and jam..you got a tab.?.theres some parts i cant get right.

  • excellent nice nice ;)

  • Thanks!

  • I like how you managed to loop the drumbeat. Your guitar playing was also really good.

But I really didnt like your singing

  • well done mate, the ending was excellent, including solo...only thing is that most of the chords were wrong in the "rain down" part, still worked though. very nice!

  • I feel like it fills in the chorus type piano-y part as well as the guitar part when i play it this way.

  • Wow.

  • HA as if thats possible.

  • Ive got to say that was pretty dam impressive :) i love this song to pieces and you almost perfected it .. great job mate

  • lol thats a fucking tough task .. paranoid android :O awesome

  • I dont have a preamp or anything, so I cant really think of any reason it would sound different. Maybe just different freq. settings on the EQ. THanks for the compliments. I'm only partially a singer, i havnt had any lessons or anything.

  • hey you are good!

  • Dude, that kicks some major ass.

  • its deadly man good work how did u get the beat aswell?

  • I was just playing around with my loopstation and figured out (inspired by Even Johansen AKA Magnet) that you can make some very untypical noises, and just kinda mocked the drum beat from the song! Loop stations and acoustic guitars rock!

  • its just u got the bridge wrong u know that part "ambission makes u look pretty ugly"

  • Yeah im not too worried about how its really played...This is just my version is all.

  • yeah thats fuckin class, i can play it too its not as hard as it looks surprisingly enuf

  • Thank you kindly
