Apparently this is Gottfried's voice and his voice will still be used for the Japanese commercials but not the American ones..... makes sense?

@DonnyM32 No I agree that doesn't make sense lol but I wish I could supply you with the Yahoo News article I read that stated Gottfried's voice was still being used in Japanese commercials. Maybe they got it wrong or they could have been referring to just a sound clip of his "Aflac" catchphrase.

Also Aflac fired Gilbert Gottfried over stuff he said about the tsunami b/c of Aflac's Japanese customer base, but it's not even Gottfried's voice in the Japanese commercials? I don't think the average Japanese person knows or cares who Gilbert Gottfried is let alone read his Twitter so it was totally unnecessary
