Spilt Milk was a combination of Queen, Pet Sounds era Beach Boys, with the vocals by the guy from Cheap Trick. I've never really heard the Beatles' influence on this album, that a lot of people like to assign to the band. Maybe on the Bellybutton album, but not this one.

@CakeS2k What some call "ripping off" some understand to be simple influence. Best I can tell so far (and I learn new shit everyday), art, individuals, most stuff, is a sum of its respective influences. You can totally tell they listened to a lot of Brian Wilson's work, as well as Queen...I mean...they sound pretty tight to me...and I'd venture to say that I'm a discriminating listener...sorry you think they suck. I have to disagree.
