@CaliCoasterFreak I know. Drew didn't play this year. You're right, not that he will help at all. He quit in on the Tarheels.and he will probably quit on the Bruins. Good luck.
@bornyesterday21 I've heard the guy sucks. The Wear's can't be healthy... but I did get word they suck too when transferring. Surprisingly Lazeric Jones has improved since this video was made.... but somehow the team is now playing zone.. such a mess
@CaliCoasterFreak i don't know all that much about ucla hoops this year. they don't get much air time in the northeast, but it doesn't look that good. i'm older than you and remember the wooden years. what happened?.........GO HEELS!
@CaliCoasterFreak we don't get to see much ucla basketball in the northeast, but man they sure fell off the map. what happened? carolina has another great team this year. i am pumped.........GO HEELS!
@CaliCoasterFreak Drew started losing playing time to then freshman Kendall Marshall. That's one of the reasons why he left. He never said much about it himself. His father did most of the talking for him. Marshall is a pretty good point guard and moved in nicely.
@bornyesterday21 Kind of ironic, the Wear twins were the pure reason this team won tonight against Arizona. The conference is a joke for the 3rd consecutive season... I obviously didn't get to see the Wooden years, but i know all about them.
@CaliCoasterFreak It's was good to see UCLA win yesterday and the Wear twins do well. The John Wooden years were a long time ago. It was a different ball game then. When i think of UCLA, i don't think of 8-7, i think of all those championships, and "88" IN A ROW. That's impressive in any era..........GO HEELS.
UCLA is definitely overhyped... but they do have some talent. it jst needs to come together. But they still shouldn't b losing 2 middle tennessee state by 20.
Check out my basketball blog as well. Cover all things basketball related :)
I never expected us to start 0-2 seriously. This blows.
I thought our football program was a joke but basketball is not far behind. I think Howland has to go. Something tells me there is not a strong connection between him and the UCLA players. Heck we had to bring in an AAU coach to recruit.
@mayahi The heat is truly on him. It feels as if he's lost his touch since Collison and Shipp graduated. Ever since Collison graduated, this group of kids is just not the same.
@310Sole That was a kick in the balls when LBSU beat UCLA that one time two years ago.... but I know the feeling when SJSU defeated UCLA in baseball earlier this year.
@CaliCoasterFreak yeah that loss 2 years ago, I think it was like 10 pt loss and I believe UCLA had lost to Fullerton earlier in that year...yeah when i saw that tweet by Josh I couldn't help but laugh a bit and think "what a sore loser"
Agree with EVERYTHING you say. This team looks totally unmotivated. They do not play Ben Howland defense. They need to start playing with PRIDE. We're playing for the names on the back of the jerseys rather than the four, great letters on the front of the jerseys. We better step it up, or else it is going to be a LONG ass season. Just don't forget we had a great season last year (considering the young talent we had on our team) despite starting 3-4...
@thabruinsblitz They only had one lousy loss to Montana during that 4 game losing streak last year. Those were early quality losses. This opening to the season is just pathetic.
@CaliCoasterFreak True, but you really can't make that assumption that the opening to our season is pathetic. Wait until a few weeks to see how good LMU and MT REALLY are, because who knows, they might end up as "quality losses". Nonetheless, our performance on the court is very immature, and we are making our opponents look like the super NCAA All-Star team...
@DonV310 Cal might surprise people this year, don't be shocked if they start winning a bit. Arizona has a good foundation going, but the AZ-UCLA rivalry is what keeps the Pac-12 hoops afloat.
Ben Howland is a great coach and i trust he can turn this around. you dont get all that success, all the final fours, all the accolades, all the nba players without being a great coach. As bruin fans we have to trust that howland will do his job correctly because he has for a long time
How do you like the 3 ex-Carolina stiffs? Good riddance.....LOL......Go Heels!

There is no Pac-12 basketball if UCLA is down. Youre absolutley correct on that

LOL guess Honeycutt, Lee, and UCLA all needed each other this year.
