  • Yeah, but You can get a reasonably high spec mac and it will be fast. Or you could get a very high spec pc and it will be even faster. Now here is the thing i dont understand, why is the price the same? My friend got a dual core imac for £800 with mid graphics card. I got a quad core pc with high end graphics card for £450 and it came with a 1080p screen and it has a 1tb hdd whereas his mac only has 500gb so i dont really see any reason to get a mac when you can get pc thats much more powerful

  • @tubemonkey2000

Yes, but if you look at my "PowerBook G4 VS Gateway MT6728 Boot Time" video, you can see, that with a Mac, twice the price, but with half the specs, goes faster in booting and shutting down.

  • Mac is way better i switched for windows 7. i mean windows 7 is a way better than vista and xp but it still cant compare to a mac. i use to have a hackintosh that i built. [i bought a license of leopard so yea] but anyways i was running leopard on a eMachines and it worked great. i only had 512ram and it ran way faster than with windows 7.... WAY FASTER!!!!!!!!! but hey its true what they say... "you get, what you pay"

  • @MajeupMr

You are right. I really like Windows 7, but you just can't compare it to Snow Leopard or Leopard or even Tiger! I hope you can get a real Mac someday!

  • i hope so too :)

i might get one this xmas yay :D

  • Awesome! Which Mac would you get?

  • the macbook pro :D

  • @MakeupMr

Awesome! My cousins whose accounts are ubervande and MrSn00zeButton have the late 2008 MacBook Pro 15" mid-spec version. Another WAM viewer xoxAshh137 also has a MacBook Pro. I am getting a MacBook in March.

And when you get a Mac, pushing Option, Shift, and K at the same time gives you an Apple logo.

  • oh shit, i never knew that lol, thanks. i just tried it out

  • @CharlesMVP

    lol

  • when you upgrade the OS on your pc, everything from your computer can be put into one files that should show up in my computer on the system, so when you buy a mac...what......you start over or have to make the file system work.....HA its easier to stay with pc

  • @gunamboy2

If you update the OS on a Mac, you can click the "upgrade" button on the installer and it will update the OS and keep all of your settings and other stuff.

If you go from PC to Mac, you can take your PC into an Apple store and they will copy everything on to your new Mac.

  • Macs are morons. and people using it is so arrogant

  • If Mac hates windows then why do they use Windows office?

  • You mean Microsoft Office.

Well, they don't use it themselves. You must buy Office Mac separate. From Apple you can get iWork with Keynote and Pages which are better than PowerPoint and Word in my opinion.

  • Hey vote for Mac VS PC and iPod VS Zune at my website. The links in the description.

No inappropriate comments on the video please.

  • Do a Google search for "Windows 7 problems" making sure to add the quotation marks. Write down the number of results. Now do a search for "Snow Leopard problems". See the number of reslts. Do the same thing for "Windows 7 troubles" vs. "Snow Leopard troubles" and "I love Windows 7" vs "I love Snow Leopard". Apple has a twisted sense of what "customer satisfaction" means.

  • @Arqui3D you realize that Macs are under 10% of the market right?...its obvious they will have less problems with a smaller user base...some people need to think before fanboy raging

  • ? I posted that because the search results for "snow leopard problems", "snow leopard troubles" and "snow leopard crashes" (all made with quotes) are a lot more than the same searches for windows 7, again with quotes. Considering the small market share of the Mac, which you precisely quoted, this means snow leopard has a lot more problems, troubles and crashes per user than windows 7. Just to make my position clearer, I'm a PC and I approve this message.

  • you ar fucking awesome, i fucking hate mac....haha mac is so much bullshit...come on time to upgrade to the only computer thats worth the money

  • Yes! Many thanks for posting. How wonderful of Apple to point out the basics of what everyone wants these days. No, Macintosh never has had a record viruses, and NEVER WILL Get close to having a domain virus (such as Trojan) that will rule over it's main framework (as we all know Windows has never gotten rid of!) I remain with both O.S.s, Windows and Macintosh OS X. Don't we all love these debates between Operating Systems?

  • Yes sure we love these debates!

    *Scarcastic*

  • Where are the Viruses on Macs? if Thousands of people are switching to Mac then surely there have to be so many viruses for them.

  • No there's not.

    For two reasons:

    1. UNIX core system blocks unauthorized programs

    2. There are still more PCs in the world as Apple is one company competing against others such as HP, Dell, Toshiba, Gateway and more.

  • Viruses are made using Linux coding and such. Nothing is immune to any virus. How do you think Anti-virus software gets sold? They make viruses and tell people to get this software to protect yourself.

OF course there's those people that are dead bored and make a virus for no reason. also there is Malware, Phishing, and the like.

Macs are just as venerable to such attacks than a computer running Windows.

  • Not quite as venerable. There are less Macs in the world, so less OS X viruses.

  • see you know why PCs get more viruses than Macs

  • @PuroPincheSinaloa09

    Yes I do.

  • O my gosh it;s true.

  • sad

  • How?

  • its sad because these ads vare not even funny or factual anymore.they nothing but slander. i at least respect them when they were hilarious
