The world lost a beautiful person, the day she died. Aside from the fact she was an incredible actress (golden girls!) she was an even more incredible person. I loved her even more when I discovered she did alot of work for PETA and was against the meat industry, fur industry, etc (just like me!) Hollywood lost an amazing actress and animals lost one of their biggest advocates. R.I.P Bea, thank you for being a friend!

I am saddened by the news that Bea Arthur has passed away. I loved the Golden Girls. I knew every episode. I even cried when I watched the final episode (even though it was over 15 yrs later). Bea, Estelle, Rue, and Betty were wonderful actors. I always felt that it would be hard for me to cope if any of them were to pass away. But I am happy that Mrs. Arthur was able to live such a long wonderful life on this earth. Now she can enjoy her new life in Heaven. I will miss you! :-( :-)
