  • What beautiful sound! My bassoon sound is very faint..

  • Whoa! I've never seen anyone with an extension like that on their bell. Interesting.

  • Actually, there isn't an extension on her bassoon. Instead, it is a type of bassoon called the "Gentleman's Model", which simply means the long joint and bell come apart differently than a regular bassoon; the long joint is shorter, and the bell is longer than a standard model.

  • excellent job

  • great musicality and technical perfection.

  • Amazing rendition of the Weber Concerto!

  • 21 years old

  • do you use a plastic or wooden reed?

  • She uses a wooden reed...everybody in our studio uses cane...actually i would say everyone in the professional world does!

  • Is she also a pupil of "you know who"? (no, not voldemort :)

  • HAHAHAHAHA! Yes!

  • @costythehot

    "like" :-)

    however, I wish we some day achieve with plastic something similarly beautiful... like the clarinets already do (in the greatest orchestras, indeed...)

    but of course it's also fascinating (magical) that natural cane is really living material! it really grows after being dead and cut and gouged...

    bravo Zeynep :-)

  • One of the best Weber performances I've heard. The first few measures were fabulous.

  • Bravo Zeynep!!!

    Jasen
