Iin the 80's you couldn't just turn the FM tuner to the local rock station and hear Metallica. Being a metal fan, you had to fuckin' love it. You were friends with other kids who fuckin' loved it.

We knew the Bay Area created something unique and never for a second did we take that for granted. We loved that we got to embrace it, and it scared other people.
