16x AA is what is dropping the FPS. You don't actually need it that high. 4x max. Anything higher is unnoticeable. I have it on 2x and it looks smooth as and the FPS is 50-60.
Since the G51 can go all the way up to 1920 resolution, I would've run it at a higher resolution but reduced the AA to say 2x since you don't need it on a high resolution laptop screen that's only 15.6" inches. That might give you better performance and better visual quality?
like the only one there is, show that graphics card only reaching "high" quality and thats very bad, i think the guys with did the video didnt test it correctly, so if you can i will be pleased.
The reason i don't wanna get this comp is it costs the same as the g73 right now. I might as well get g73 which is newer , and better specs and quality built with 2 fans and it does have a bigger screen. If it costs cheaper i would get the g51.

I have my unit over clocked at 600/1960/1443 and have had no overheating issues whatsoever. I'm content with my purchase. Granted, the Abyssus mouse that came with the unit was okay, the cord quickly started to lose insulation. I purchased the Razer Mamba, and im enjoying it now :D
@nokuma Oh how do you overclock your unit? How do you do that? Well the g73 doesn't have many overheating issues. It doesn't get hot with those 2 fans.
For all the people saying that, they are getting a higher fps with there builds. It's because hes recording it! with fraps, hence why the frame rates will max @ around 34 fps
I'm thinking of geting this and so far I'm impressed for the price it's a very nice machine and i'm not a harcore gamer so i don't mind that it has the GTS 360 m not the GTX 260 m
How much time do you get on battery I know that it's not much but i neet to know because i'm going to use it not only for a desctop replasment but on the road and at college

@vampirerx With a T9900, GTX 260M, all settings on and maxed, except AA on 2x, I get 60fps solid.
16x AA is just pointless. The lower fps in this video is probably due to having AA so high and also maybe because of the GTS 360M, since the GTX 260M is slightly better.

The reason i don't wanna get this comp is it costs the same as the g73 right now. I might as well get g73 which is newer , and better specs and quality built with 2 fans and it does have a bigger screen. If it costs cheaper i would get the g51.

@vampirerx Without AA, i get better scores. i think overall you see a 5-7 fps difference
