im going to watch the barnsly roaming robots and i ight consider making one but im only 14 so im a little short of money

any tips cos ive got an ant weight robot called nibly after the neverending story character and i wanted to ask whats a decent weapon for him cos he is wedge shaped and i want to go on the lines of a heavy dameging weapon thats not a spinner

any help or recomendations will be most apreseated

@owain2222. if you want real damage in antweights but not a spinner a crusher is the next best. Axe weapons don't scale down so will just bounce off. The most effective flippers are pneumatic or use a spring latch. For control you could use a grab lift system. Have a look at other robots and improve their weapons. Try antweight .co.uk for some pictures

hey, do antweight spinners have seperate battles to non-spinner antweights?

The events tend to have a non spinner event first (no spinners allowed) for a warm up

followed by a spinner event (anything within the rules can enter antweight .co.uk for rules)

At around 2:52, did his axe break off?

How did the little axe flip the spinning weapon robot up so high???

The axe went into the 106g disc and broke off.  What you don't see is the huge hole the axe made in the lipo battery and the robot switch being turned off as it is flying arround.

The axe itself didnt lift the bot, but the gyroscopic force from the disc after it was hit made it.
