The TNA theme songs are not more appealing than WWE theme songs. In my opinion, WWE would be more appealing if they go back on the old days, with a little concern having to make their show a PG friendly program. If the WWE returns to that then you might as well shutdown TNA. Because if the WWE just stayed like in the old days. There wouldn't be TNA

I have been listening to wrestling theme songs for the last half hour. Aside from Christian's, which is a rip off of "Going Under" by evanessence, TNA theme songs sound less like ripoffs than WWE songs do.... Granted some of them are just generic rock themes, they are not ripoffs of well known songs, at least as far as I can tell. Kurt Angle's is sweet, except for the bad synthesizer work, lol I kind of like AJ's new music better though.

I've only found 1 type of version of it, and its 27 seconds, there's gotta be a longer version then this song. Like somebody has gotta have a looped version of it at least.

There is no program on weekly television that competes with Raw. So Spike TV isn't really losing anything by putting TNA up there.

Whether it hurts TNA depends on whether or not they spend money like WCW did. Since I have no access to their bank books (or even that much curiosity), I couldn't say whether they do or not. It doesn't seem like it right now, but who knows.

It was awful writing and insane expenditure of cash that killed WCW, not competing with Raw.

@jaca316 I don't mean philosophically. I usually watch TNA and ignore Raw too (although I did watch the whole draft episode). But ratings wise, nothing on regular TV competes with Raw. Spike wouldn't compete with Raw no matter what they stuck up against it, so putting Impact up isn't 'going to kill TNA' like some people say it will.

@Redrik666 Wrong. You may not realize it but WWE's ratings are substatially dropping while TNA's are increasing. The reason being is that the only fanbase of the WWE thats remaining stable is the older generation due to the fact that the WWE makes all women "wrestling" matches completely sexual based. Beyond that there isn't much interest in it because the WWE spends most of the show with dialogue as opposed to actual wrestling.

The thing I don't like about the TNA themes is that for the most part, they're easy to forget about. A lot of them are Dale Oliver taking a rock song and slightly modifying it to make it sound different. Eg. Sting's first TNA theme was clearly a re-worked Seek And Destroy, and Nash's in this is Kashmir. I hope they can improve these themes in the future. That was one thing I love about WWE and WCW. I can remember the themes really well. Like Sting's old Crow one.

@TheSynGame His first TNA one was. Not the one he's been using for the past few years but the one he used in his debut was. They called it "Stingellica" or something like that. That said since my comment 7 months ago now, there's been a lot of stand out themes for me. AJ, Samoa Joe, Matt Morgan, all of these themes I've actually got on my iTunes now. But the old TNA themes weren't all that good. SynGame, if you look on youtube, you'll find it somewhere. I don't think he used it much though.

I loved Sting's crow theme. He used it sometimes during 1999-2001, and I always thought it suited him, even though he still had his outgoing personality after the Wolfpac ended. One of my other favorite's was Lex Luger's pre-Wolfpac theme. I think they played it one last time in late 1999 before giving him the crappy new theme.

See, the problem with TNA themes is that they are almost all generic rock themes, heavy on the guitar. The guy that does them (Dale Oliver) does most of the themes by himself and you can tell he doesn't have the resources his WWE counterpart (Jim Johnston) has, or even had years ago. Most of TNA's themes don't really have anything that personifies the wrestlers. Maybe with TNA's upcoming rise in resources, they can expand.
