  • @Dunamis2190 google jungleflasher

  • how do you take the top off of the disk drive

  • @robthatguyx Take the bottom off with a screwdriver...

  • Hey man thanks but i have a 360 elite 83850C v2 isn't there any other way to extract key without cutting and soldering?

  • @killerow1234567890 There is now, but wasnt before.

  • i have the key but do i need to buy the lt clip to flash it still?

  • @partyboyda no :)

  • hey, if i have a prob i dont have to solder anything, right?

  • @TheTalonTsi now you dont, you did before :)

  • I have a 93450c liteon and was wondering if i could just use the sata cable and 360 powersupply and do what you just did in this video

  • @Swiper360

    @Swiper360

Yes you can use the 360 to power the drive :) Some people find it hard to power cycle though. You will still need to cut traces, have a way of extracting the key (Probe, LT Clip / Switch etc) and some way of repairing the traces (Solder, Glue)

  • @MrDT91 Hey, I got an LT-Clip and we have a laptop which picks up the dvd drive in normal mode, but I try switching the clip to MRA mode/with intro vendor, but the laptop can't detect it at that point..

note that I couldn't even get the laptop to detect it untill I switched sata mode from AHCI to compatability in the bios in the first place, just wondering if maybe i've something to do with drivers?

  • @OriginOfPurpose

Have you tried sending the intro command with different Ohm settings? A small minority of the new drives can be fussy, try 22 then 18.

If this doesnt work and your traces are cut correctly, it could be that your timing is off when power cycling the drive.

Alternatively, try powering the drive on with the switch already in MRA mode, sending the intro then flicking back to normal to save the key.

  • @MrDT91 Tried all those things and nothing worked... Turns out the problem was the clip was attatched wrong (blame my brother) and then my brother ended up killing the power to the dvd drive while trying to move it into working position. Took it to a modshop and got it all fixed and flashed for 120 dollars.

  • @OriginOfPurpose

I see, its good to hear that you have it sorted now mate, though 120 bux was a bit steep for that kind of work to be honest!

  • So what is everything I would need to buy? Would I still need a probe and the other thing, sorry im just having a brain fart and cannot remember what it i called

  • @SkarGM

CK3 Connectivity Kit, Probe V2, VIA6421 SATA Card is the method I use. Very fast and easy when you have experience :)

  • is there any way to do this without opening pc and without buying any usb to SATA things? I have a laptop that is really expensive and i don't want to open it and I don't have a credit card to buy a USB to SATA thing online. is there any way to do it? Please Help.

  • @FlashFireIAN

Hi, unfortunately not, you would have to install a SATA card on your Laptop if you wanted to do it - I would reccommend sending it off to XboxFlashing.co.uk (the site in the video)

  • where are the connection points on the board for the probe????

  • @laylani1123

Hi, You can find these points pictured in the JungleFlasher tutorial :)

  • So, you dont have to solder it?

  • @rafita289

Not if you use conductive glue, or if you get a hold of one of the new LT Clips :)

  • I have a Phillipss Lite-on and the model number is DG-16D2S-09C. My question is what do I need to flash it? My FW version is 83850c. Please help me I would greatly appreciate it.

  • @broadnax1991

Hi, You would need a CK3 connectivity kit, as well as either a Probe v2 or LT switch. You need to cut the traces and repair them with either solder or conductive glue. These can all be purchased from the site in the video if you cant find them anywhere.

If you have never worked on electronics before, I would suggest sending or dropping off your xbox to the guys in the site in the video as you don't want to mess up over £100 worth of equipment!

  • where can i get that?

  • @MrOseme if you cant find anywhere, contact the site in the video :)

  • Not if you use the new CK3 Probe v2

  • So, you dont have to solder it?
