@gabrieltsiry That was at the 2003 NAMM (National Association of Music Merchants) Concert Honoring Elton John. I don't have it, but maybe someone out there does. :~)
I agree with John, i stumbled onto him when my music teacher in eighth grade forced my class to watch his Where the Light is concert dvd, starting with his trio playing Everyday I Have The Blues. I came out of class not liking his music. my dad then bought me that dvd and i didnt listen to it throughout that schoolyear, my dad wanted me to go work outside and said he would put music on. i said put on that Mayer guy, and he did. Now 3 years later hes the artist i know the most songs on guitar by
elton john called him a breath of fresh air...if that was me, i'd just toss my hat down and call it a day hahaha. john mayer is a breath of fresh air, good to see he came from true roots.
@england716 I was at that Houston concert! Woodlands?? I saw him in Dallas the night before haha, and I was 2nd row in Austin in March 2010! I love him, seen him four times and counting!
@ryanjames2007 That wasn't at the Grammy's, it was at the 2003 NAMM (National Association of Music Merchants) Concert Honoring Elton John. It was to benefit music education and research. And sadly, no, I don't have it.
I never liked john when i heard his radio songs, but after hearing vultures in my mates car one day i've been hooked. seriously, he's my idol
