can someone please help me out? I have the HTC Droid Incredible A message flashed on my screen asking if i wanted to update to the new firmware and I clicked yes. Next thing I know my phone is stuck on the HTC white screen. Nothing fancy was done to me phone (rooting, hacking, etc). I've tried everything but my phone just keeps going back to the stupid white screen.

yea i did this too but when my phone restarted after factory resetting it, the screen goes black and it just says android. Can anybody help me out?

My recovery looks different, it sais 4EXT Recovery v2.2.6 RC5.

I think it changed after i flashed Android Revolution Rom.

What should i do to flash another rom? flash from 4EXT Recovery v2.2.6 RC5 or how do i get clockworkmod recovery?

we are trying to fix the same phone and for some reason it wont go into recovery. it vibrates 6 times and then the screen goes black. do you know how to fix it?

Hey, so whenever I attempt to go into recovery, the phone vibrates as the screen immediately turns to the bright htc splash screen. After this, it slowly fades to black and either stays black, or it will then switch to the "htc quietly brilliant" screen. If the latter happens, it will then (after a couple of seconds) switch over to the at&t animation screen & then just repeat that particular bootloop (i.e. the "htc quietly brilliant" to the at&t animation screen) until I pull the battery..help?
