  • Arguably Spector's greatest production. Just listen to what's goin' on in there.

  • If this is the Darlene Love public service track, wasn't it supposedly produced by Brian Wilson not Spector?

  • @StevenQBond far as i know spector produced the backing track / instrumental then the other producers used it for supremes, jay & americans, blossoms

  • I've this (as well as the 3 versions), but - still - listening to The Wrecking Crew, raw - volume cranked UP... It is sheer artistry, of ALL the parts.

  • Bet it's NOT going to have those tunes by The Five S***s! (LOL!!)

But I THINK that's on the tape I have....someday I will try to dig that out.

    THANKS FOR REPLY. :)

  • Somebody said that unreleased SPECTOR stuff is finally coming out on CD,but I'll believe it when I see it. FIFTY YEARS,LOL!!

In the meantime, you have this. Thanks for comments!

BTW....I have an audio cassette from the rarely-seen (and never released on DVD)_documentary, "Rocking And Rolling With Phil Spector". The film only shows PS

    briefly,but he's talked about...from 1984.

  • One of the greatest sides is the Spector stable. THANKS!!!

  • @28mark

    wow...who is Lou Palmer?

btw,I have unreleased stuff which I may put up someday....it

has to be run from cassette...

PHIL once produced a band called "The 5 S****s",LOL!! and

I think their track is on that recording (which has several

drop-outs due to changes being made during those experimental sessions)...

  • @RonaldVaughan my mistake...make that Earl Palmer--drummer

  • @RonaldVaughan The voice of 'Wrecking Crew' drummer, HAL BLAINE is heard counting off the song.

  • Just heard the Supremes' vocal mix

    on this song.

    Amazing song with an amazing

    history....Even recorded in Spanish

    overseas!

    Only RODNEY BINGENHEIMER would

have had other access to this! Wow!!

  • Originaly the song dont hurt my little sister by the beachy boys.

  • NICE JOB, John!!!!! It's PERFECT!~

  • cheers m8, i fiddled with the tone added bit of echo then where yours cut of for the supremes/jay's part i used the intro and slighty speeded it up plus bit of over dub,

i tried to get it same as the supremes / jay and americans version in lengh etc, thanks again for letting me use your part

  • thanks a lot =)
