@Blockygraphics Yes, I have two Brooke's rams horn types one is wood and the other is the metal kind that was used on the Transcontinental Railroad. I also have a cd735 Tillotson. Those are the early telegraph type. I have newer types though they would fall in the spool or sleeve types.
@Blockygraphics I have seen them in the wild on poles in Cheyenne, Wyo. used for secondary power lines, and on the back of house's in Denver, Colo. used as secondary drops for power. I have not been able to actually obtain them though. They can still be found in Mexico and many have been recovered from there.
