a wrestler friend of mine got this type of injurie for a few times because friction between ear and the mat in competition .

the doctor drain his injured ear every time . his ears look normal , but are very soft . he can move ears like a dog just shaking his head . loool . a funny guy . he told me that the doctor used some kind of metal clamp after the draining . actually , my friend is the only wrestler I know without the cauliflower ears . dozens else had .

They're trained to try and take as little damage as possible, but they still are constantly hurting because they perform multiple days a week, and often get hooked on painkillers because of it.
