My favorite part of my 540i is that any time I see another BMW they automatically either try and race a little or just cruise with you. Definitely a family.

I look at BMW owners as one big family, even if we dont know each other. I have always recieved warm greetings and compliments from other owners. One thing I have never witnessed, is BMW drivers dissing each other. If we all drove Honda Civics, then I would understand.

RIght on! It's amazing the rapport that us BMW drivers seem to strike up with one another! I drive an E46 325i SE and it's a beaut! Everytime another owner sees me there's a friendly admiring smile - I met a lovely lady the other day when I parked up in Ilminster - she was the proud owner of a 7 series and we had a great chat about our motors - she was very knowledgable too - can't see me ever wanting to drive another make now!
