I have an automatic version. I haven't yet faced a snow like yours. I wonder whether mine will be able to deal with snow like yours.

I am completely sure that the automatic version will go as good as the manual. I have done many trips with some friends with automatic Subarus and they go really really well.

Manual transmission.

The engine is the 2.0 with 158 bhp, and with that engine in Europe you can get an auto 4 gears transmission, or the 5 gear manual transmission with low gear (it is like having 10 gears)

@mustannicolas yes, I mean low range. In Spain and some other european countries you can buy the Forester with the 2.0X engine. In that case if you choose the manual version you get low range.

the tires were the OEM ones. Now I am using the Yokohama AT/S, and the car goes much better than when this video was shot.
