Public schools are retarded. They have more administrators than teachers. They spend more to educate per child than private schools. They graduate kids who can't read or perform simple mathamatical equations.

Public Schools are a waste of our tax funds.

Everyone I know that I went to public high school with were able to read and do simple math, and they all graduated no problem. Sure, some people struggle in school, but thats for another debate. This debate is about funding faith-based schools, which no one should support.

my child is in that system you are masacaring......and you are wrong....she is getting marks in the 80's and 90's at her school...with my help and the help of the great teachers of her public school....and she has a learning disability....at her school they all play guitar twice a week...exercise most mornings and swim as well.....she is becoming a great student of math...music...history....scie­nce....and I love her school...so you need to be quiet....

They are publicly funded in British Columbia, Manitoba, Alberta and Quebec. Yes, Alberta, despite being Prime Minister Stephen Harper's power base, and Quebec, despite sharing Quebec Premier Jean Charest's "safety concerns" for hijab-wearing girls on the soccer field, both fund Islamic schools.
