  • Sad news that Viewed died today from complications of a twisted bowel

  • The should call it a "Nostril"....was a short-half nostril.....

  • i actually think tht this was a dead heat because neither horse is touching the line. sure, they are VERY close to it, but one could be striding forward more than the other. NOBODY KNOWS.

  • I love the way people flock to the group 1 races, just because the prize money is great.

Yet, the only difference it makes to race goers is the names of the horse, and the size of the crowd.

If you find the Melbourne cup so interesting, why not the Moe cup, or Sandown cup?

Oh, that's right. They're not feature events in the spring carnival.

  • Thanks again Bart! I picked up the 42/1 and loved it! when are people gonna realise that u should never let a Bart Cummings horse go out at that price with out having something on it, especially at Flemington, the man is a genius no doubt.Cummings greatest of all horse trainers i've been on the bus since 60's

    Bradman not aussies best cricketer?,bullshit!

    turn it up !absolute sacrilige.

  • Even though bradman was not australia's greatest ever cricketer he is held as australia's best and most influential aussie sports person of all time. I think bart overtook bradman today. I was thinking a week or so ago that he is never going to win another cup before he leaves this earth but like the freak that he is produced another. It bought a tear to my eye watching the replay and thinking of his career. No one comes close and no one ever will come closs to the master.

  • @allinjim123 Bradman was our best cricketer. He only batted, but what a batsman! It's debatable, but Kieth Miller was our best allrounder (maybe Shane Watson can become this, if he is allowed to bowl more) and maybe Waren and McGrath our best bowlers. Wicketkeeper is hard to pick. Bart's great. I too backed this horse and cleaned up, but there were some anxious moments! The way Viewed fought back in the straight showed excellent endurance training.

  • Gallopin died?! I didn't think that?

  • No...somebody is a little confused.

  • i had c'est la guerre for a place which was awesome

but i would have one much more if they hadnt dropped the rates for his to 7 from like 18..

and honolulu was my other one.

  • Thank you for posting. Our power went off just as the horses started to walk in, so we missed seeing it live. We had no idea who won.

  • You're welcome...I was trying to be first to get it up but I was beaten at the post.

  • the officials were running to get rid of the fuckin fencing, not to see the horse

  • Sad that horse died! Just after the start when all the officials start running and you see them in the background. That was gallopin gone down

  • What r u talkin about??

Gallopin was pulled up on the bend coming into the home straight. Not sure if he even died.

He stuffed up Zipping's run. Look at Zipping at the top of the straight - He is dead last and makes the fastest finish.

So many other hard luck stories as well.

  • Gallopin suffered breathing difficulties and had to be pulled up just short of the final straight.

    He did not die.

  • lol

    close

  • none of mine won...crycrycry

  • mhmm

  • I Just Watched This,

    Hehe

    Close Win
