Una striscia di alluminio di lattina di coca avvolta a formare un tubicino e quattro monetine per bloccare i lati aperti (due per parte).

Si. Teoricamente può resistere fino a temperatura di fusione dell'alluminio, ma quella temperatura non la raggiungerà mai. Diciamo che sopporta tranquillamente i 200°...

La lamina è stata arrotolata lasciando al suo interno come supporto 4 o 5 monetine mobili.Ottenuto il cilindro, ho segnanto con un pennarello il punto in cui la fine della striscia toccava sul cilindro stesso.Ho svolto il nastro e tolto le monetine.Ho riavvolto il nastro fino alla fine regolandomi con il punto segnato e ho incollato con attack gli ultimi due centimetri, stringendo di 1 o 2 millimetri il tubo. Così le monetine vanno perfettamente ad incastro con un martelletto.

CHE HAI UTILIZATO PER FORARE?

Punta da 2 mm, montata su una penna tagliabalsa. Praticamente i fori sono fatti a mano. Volendo si può utilizzare un minitrapano, ma occorre andarci piano per non fare danni estetici al cilindretto di alluminio.

come hai bloccato le monete da 1 centesimo nei buchi?

Le monete vanno a pressione in quanto il nastro di alluminio è stato avvolto molto strettamente sulla loro misura.

A completare la sigillatura (contro eventuali fuoriuscite di alcohol, dovute alla dilatazione termica), ho messo intorno al bordo delle monete (prima di incastrarle nei loro alloggiamenti), della semplice colla cianoacrilica (attack).

The aluminum is wrapped so as to incorporate the coins within it. These, are held in position (inside the tube) with cyanoacrylate adhesive.

If you can't find this glue, you can use any brand of instant super glue (based on cyanoacrylate adhesive)

I glued 2 coins together for the top and 2 coins together for the bottom.

Perhaps, superglue is the same of super Attak (commercial name, sold in Italy), the important is that must be cyanoacrylate adhesive.
