although 16gigs of ram is abit over the top, 8 would do fine, but the rest? YEAH BABY! That is one bad ass pc I would like to get:P That would be sick man.
i dont think 16 gigs of ram is too much..i do a lot of photoshop work...so when i try to render and print high quality pics i run out memory..but yeah..imagine having lan parties with those things...jeez everyone in high school bathroom matches (lan) crysis lol
I see what you mean. 16 gigs would do PS a easier job. But look at this, If they spread all the tech on the ion pc over a 30"inch OLED touchscreen there would be almost no heat since every thing would be spread, the only thing you would need would be a stand or a pegleg lock on the back. All inputs would be on the bottom of the screen and you could whatever you wanted. This would be the new "tablets"/pc's to work PS, AE, and alot more, because you have the multi touch and a bad ass pc:P
have a hp touchscreen laptop and its gay! so im not a fan of touchscreens...mabe for someone who likes drawing? with the combination of photoshop....but yeah you could have a water block on the bottom eating up the heat..or something like hot ice...keeps freezing everytime temperature rises
hot ice? don't think I've heard of it. Sounds like a good way to cool components. When it comes to the touchscreen I was thinking more of Windows Se7en or that they build a , from scratch, skin to use with XP or Se7en so that it would use as little as possible of the pc to run. But yeah, for PS and drawing it's sweet. I'm just more conserned with Microsoft or anyone else creating a touch system that feels naturaly and is easy and simple to use.
yeah i have windows 7 right mow rc version omg its awesome its like finally microsoft came out with something decent....looks better than vista but runs like xp... eye candy and performance finally equallized..oh yeah and i have created a science project with hot ice..its actually pretty cool..since its an awesome heat absorber...better than copper or any metal
Agreed. Se7en is the way to go:P Though I still run XP I have a seperate partition on the main laptop and a clean drive for the rc on a stationary pc I own. Works like a charm. But the hot ice, I see only one possible problem. Is it cheap? because if it's costy that'll put a damper on the price for the OLED ION Pc.
I can't wait till they make a more badass ION with a 9800 GPU and up to 4gb of ram with a quad core or more CPU. that would be epic!!!
