I knew this song from The Romantics' great cover on their National Breakout record. Have been searching for the original version and other versions of it that came before. Very cool to hear it!
This is a great song! Never realized it was by The Underdogs who sang one of my all time favorites, Love's Gone Bad. Very cool, thanks for the upload!
Great catchy music! It must have been great to grow up with this music, because I bet you listen, and the 60 year old is back there again for a moment.
Hey, Underdogs---the Hideout and your song is STILL being talked about on our high school's website! You are STILL a 'hit' in the Detroit area! GOOD STUFF!
Recently found a few old 45's from my high school days, several were the UNDERDOGS. Added all the songs I could find to my IPOD. Still a great sound with great times at the HIDEOUT! I remember your Dad from school, can't remember the year. I was Grosse Pointe High School class of 1967. He was one of the kool kids (band and all) and quite a cut up. Good memories of him as he nice to a nerd like me, saying hi to me. Hope he his doing well and still ROCKING! Regards, Tom
THANKS James--tell your dad his band was GREAT and we LOVED "Friday At The Hideout" when the Underdogs and Bob Seger & The Last Herd played---your dad "ROCKS"!
He is living in Utah now and has two sons, one of which I am. He is doing great, he has a book out called "Conversations with hodge." You should check it out.
