To doff something means to remove it, and a byahkee is the nasty little monsters the cultists ride in the story.

@TheZombiePimpernel Interestingly enough, I was going to support the lyric being "Don your robe,", but when I go back and listen to it, it .. doesn't quite sound like it. So now I'm unsure. Oh well. Though, I wouldn't quite say Byakhee are necessarily 'little' monsters. In relation to other things, perhaps. But they are not that small.
