I'm new to guitar, and really want to play this song... however I don't want to tune my guitar down a half step every time I want to practice it. Is there a way to play it normally? Like... can I capo it somewhere or something? Sorry for the ignorance.

@0Sheet0 can't put a capo on, you can just play it the way he does, but without tuning down- it'll still sound ok...you just won't be able to play along with the song. (1/2 a step down tuning isn't that uncommon, lots of bands use it). keep practicing!!

@0Sheet0 you can just play the same shapes as him but one fret down, if that makes any sense... so if he says 2nd fret, then you play 1st fret. If he asks for 1st fret, then play open... this only works to some extent. there's nothing wrong with playing it a 1/2 step up. good luck!
