At that time I was on board waiting to depart from HK intl airport, and experienced the rain within an aircraft! Nice to see how it was from outside!

Nice video, well done. I saw many of those storms when I was in the New Territories in the 1970's. Very impressive.

Thanks Michael!! It was nice to be able to get out at last with the camera and shoot some footage since it's been pretty quiet so far this year. Wish there'd been more CGs though!!

Nice edit James. You should have seen the lightning we got last monday May 25/26th about 75.000 discharges in one night! At one point my house was actually shacking and my window blew out...it sure was one hell of a night! XD
