One more reason that Adam sould be in TV more is that people have to get used of the idea that people with disfigurements exist. Most of the people stare and feel bad because they dont see people like him every day crossing a street or working in the same job .There is a lot of discrimination and thats why people like him are needed as role models .People need to break stereotypes and stop being afraid of differences. Our narcissistic culture needs a real change but from inside. Respect him.

I couldn't help but chuckle at the bit where Adam said... "Neil got punched in the head, and I got a pain in my fist". I really enjoyed the 'Beauty and the Beast' series. Adam is a brilliant presenter, and I'd love to see more series done along a similar line.

Never heard of it before so thanks for sharing, Adam, and hope you get as much out of life as possible. :)

One thing I would like to say here - I suffer from two painful chronic conditions called fibromyalgia and rheumatoid arthritis, and sometimes I wish people could just SEE that I am so disabled by them - but since I look well + healthy, most times I feel like a fraud.... however, swapping it for a disability/disfigurement that people can see... it would be a difficult choice.

@vonfluffenstein agreed. being sick on the inside, when you look healthy on the outside is so tough. i have PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome) and it's hard, not as hard as yours or adam's conditions though i must admit. but people are quick to judge and it sucks, because they make themselves look stupid by these judgements.
