  • "It also helps to develop the upper lip" oh gosh! My dentist recommended me to do some exercises for my upper lip because it isn't properly developed... I am so going to do this.

  • This is false. I've taught these exercises to thousands of people. It has never caused wrinkles!

  • @Sigsac Yes you may be right ... I am doing facial exercise .. I am 29 but looks like 22-23 ... I do very intelligent exercises of each facial muscle ... but I also do care for wrinkles ... because you may have wrinkles if you do wrong exercise ... Also my suggestion is to put heavy pressure or resistance to each muscle ... resistance is the key

  • @charismapowerdotcom Hi, I just found this video that you commented on about exercising the face. When you say resistence is the key and to put heavy pressure / resistance to each muscle. Do you press lightly on the mustle or when the cheeks are in smiling positiion to press in the opposite direction? (For future reference) do you use anti wrinkle cream to care for your wrinkles?

    It would be great if you could tell me this :)

  • @HugsAreGifts The most effective facial exercises are muscle resistance exercises. This means using your fingers and thumbs to create resistance. I teach 32 exercises, and the resistance is different depending on the exercise. Please visit Happy Face Yoga dot com for more info. And I do not use any creams, except sunscreen

  • Hi, I have done these exact same facial techniques for years now from a video I bought in the late '90s. I have to admit they do work for me. I have noticed you saying that you should do these exercises on a daily basis, but through my own experience, doing them daily started making my face look very tired, even after doing the exercises. So I started doing them 4 to 5 times a week, and noticed the tired look dissappearing. I would suggest giving your face a break two to three days a week.

  • Thanks. This exercise really helped defined my facial muscles. I noticed cheek muscles have gotten more defined. I have also gotten back the dimples i lost.

  • Hi there, I am in pretty good physical condition, but due to my ethnicity (I believe), I carry some extra fat on my cheeks and jawline. Will this DVD program help eliminate the fat on my cheeks and jawline and tone/chisel my face?

  • Yes. Exercise the muscles of your face to see great results. Just remember to practice daily.

  • Yes. It's like exercising the body, so it would be very easy for you to stay looking younger. You'll appreciate it in your later years.  Go about it slowly.

  • As you strengthen the muscles around your eyes, this will indeed help to smooth the wrinkles. However, I do suggest a complete facial program. The muscles of the face are small and all interconnected, so a program of exercise will help to produce a better overall result.

  • Yes, please stop. It's just like exercising the body. Once you stop muscles return ti where they were. I suggest u wait till u r older, then do a complete program

  • as hard as it is to watch without laughing (which i didnt really try to hard not to cause i like to laugh) it really is working pretty instant on my big giant bags.

  • I don't do specific facial exercises but I do full-body exercises, and it seems to work. I've been doing it for eighteen years and I look about ten years younger than my age.

    Did you know that Jack LaLanne used to do exercises like this when he had his own exercise show on TV? I remember it from when I was little and he'd be making funny faces while exercising. Some of them can be found elsewhere on YouTube.

  • It absolutely works! And it's best to start when you are young. Do you wait until the muscles of your body sag until you go to the gym? No! Your face is no different.

  • That's so true. I do a set of facial exercises (different from this) and definitely have seen the results. It's key to start sooner rather than later.

  • This is a very good excercise for your face, and I did start seeing a difference in 4 days(that's 20 min a day, away from people if you could, it does scare them haha). Just watch out for your tongue, it might cramp on your first try
