who is doing this video?. im impressed with the language used as i recognize many of the words and phrases used. but unfortunately im not fluent and cant say if the words are used in the right context. the simple conversational lenape sounds great. anymore videos to share??
@deviouslikeyou I'm glad you like it! I also made a few videos of conversations from my Lenape textbook.. I've just posted them as video responses to this. Thanks to everyone else who has enjoyed the video! I'm glad it's been a fun and useful language tool.
@deviouslikeyou Its so good to hear from someone from Copan. And, especially noted since your family has been caretakers of the campground so dear to the tribe for so long since I was a kid, myself. That is an honor.
Ok this is a total Swattie comment to make ( I'm an alumna). But perhaps you could study the prosody of other related languages so it can sound more Lenape-like and less like English.
Otherwise awesome video. (Totally hilarious). Loved the random sneeze hahaha. Was that planned?
You guys are doing such worthwhile work, I hope you keep on working on it after the class is over.
