@CaptainStupid33 in a way. Instead of choosing your starter to battle the wild Starly at Lake Verity, you encounter Cyrus there and you don't get your starter until you and the rival encounter Professor Rowan and Dawn/Lucas en route to Sandgem Town after Lake Verity.

lol i noticed that too haha! The thing is that all anime in japan have white characters (there supposed to be asians, but asians don't have blonde hair XD!) And nintendo is modeling the games based off of the population, and most of the population has lighter skin, so it would appeal more to lighter skinned people, thus earning them more money XD! It's complicating haha!

It's a follow-up you tards. Thats why they're the same starters. For red/blue the folow-up was yellow. For gold/silver there was crystal. For sapphire/ruby theres emerald. Now for diamond/pearl platinum is the follow-up.

I have a problem, I have the ds emulator as well and when i play any pokemon games the bed and stuff in your room has black lines all over it. I noticed that yours didnt. Why?

Go to Options > Emulation Setup and check the 3D Renderer. Change it from nocash to opengl. That should fix the problem =]
