The new car was brilliant too. Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 apparently. Nano technology too by the looks of it, for the damage repair and identity changes (including colour, shape, AND registration plate lol).
Pple you gotta understand that they haveto change things. I think they are aiming for an entirly new audience now like the young kids of today. If you realy want the old car and the old theme than you should realy watch the old show, otherwise give it a chance.

How would you know anything about a car that not even out yet? The new Shelby mustang may be fast in a strait line but once you get to a corner with that dependent rear suspension your screwed. The new carmeo has Fully Independent

Oh my God! David Hasselhoff just regained my respect! After watching his cheesy music videos and his drunken ass trying to eat that Wendy's hamburger I never thought I'd ever admire his behaviour but, after knowing that his 2004 album includes this theme, I've changed my mind!

If this show is to become a series then have a classic theme tune. All the shows nowadays don't really have a theme tune, its either a really fast intro or a song, so bring the old days back when shows had great themes. This would be a great start!

Yeah, I like the using electric guitar for the opening baseline...pretty cool but they left out all the rest of the melody from the song, which is one of the most famous and most catchy TV theme songs of all time.

To answer the 2nd questions. Well IMO, if you watch the movie. The Knight Industries Two Thousand was destroyed. I think (can't remember the character's name), he had to rebuilt KITT from the ground up.
To the last comment: you could be right and like I said before he was built from the ground up and it would be a while that he would be just like the old KITT.
This pretty much feels like a guerilla method for testing an alternative should the show be picked up...? The timing is just to perfect for it not to have been composed specifically for the video... Youtube focus group?
Much more recognizable and true to the original than that crappy cacophony of generic pseudo-hip stuff that the theme used in the movie degenerates into after a good start.

I quite like it, since having been about for the original series and as yet to have seen this remake, though from what i've seen it's been well done! if NBC have done as well as they did with Heros (Think they made both, but unsure!) It should be a winner!! :D
