  • thanks guys for the kind remarks!

  • yeah per Buckethead, i think, and maybe 'Watching the boats with my dad"?

    Either way, i likey

  • Different guitars are always a treat. 12-strings, baritones...

  • @samuelmichaud

Thanks Sam, check out some cool stuff by guys like Andy Mckee, Keller Williams etc, very interesting alt tunings

  • that's a cool tune youre doing,i,m thinking of getting a baritone 6th string

  • @ob1ob123

DO IT! You could even just get a neck from Warmoth and retrofit an old guitar

  • @disasterpiecemusic

That would not be really smart. The string tension in baritone guitar is about 105kg and in a normal e-tuned guitar about 70kg. So a baritone neck and strings can damage a guitar that is built for shorter scale neck and lighter strings.

  • I didn't know Travis Bickle played guitar! You talkin' to me??

  • @Pickininvt

lol I dont what the hell I was thinking, it was a baltimore festival and I got loaded, shaved my head went out came back home and this lol.

  • Pretty.

  • it was fun for a while

  • HI guys - to answer a few questions... this is in the following tuning: L - H

    G-D-A-D-G-A

    the gauge of strings are

    .070 .060 .048 .029 .022 .016

and are commercially available from D'addario as 'EXP Coated Baritone Acoustic' set EXP23

I also Run La Bella's from time to as heavy as .080 on the bottom tuned to F# - but for now its set up typically for me to play in this tuning

    B-E-A-D-f#-B

  • cool stuff man...

  • Kind of minimalistic man I like it, and of course it sounds amazing of Baritone, 5/5 Peace.

  • Hello, just curious what guage strings and brand you're composing with. BTW what's your opinion on the Tacoma Baritone and can you please indicate what tuning you have it set to?

    - Rob in CA

  • it will be in the standard baritone tuning B E A D F# B

but obviously u can tune ur guitar to different tunings... as u probly know...

id love 2 buy a baritone guitar... if u buy 1 can u please tell me were u baught it from and around how much it costs... i have a takamine g series and want an upgrade... i might buy a stonebridge guitar tho

  • you can get them online even at musicians friend i think now... they are only available in the US thru Alvarez

  • I would imagine the hardest strings possible for a Baritone guitar :P

  • sounds great! i'm thinking about buying a baritone. what do you think about the yairi? it sounds pretty sweet in this vid
