Well, we're not dissing Nassau, but most people who travel to any of the Out Islands describe their experience as very authentic. It's not a large leap when your only other experience as a visitor to Nassau, or Grand Bahama, or Paradise Island, not someone who lives there, mind you, is the environment of Atlantis, or the cruise ships.

And we believe that the majority of people watching and reading this know that this is a Marketing site to inform others about the experience of two people, real people, not scripted performances, about their experience as it played out.

This is real. It is not trying to sell the Out Islands destination. And that the phrase "real" Bahamas is not supposed to be so literal that it excludes the other islands of the Bahamas. But for many people, this is the perfect designation for providing a quick way to set the Out Islands own unique qualities compared to the bigger, more popular Bahamas islands like Nassau. Don't they deserve some attention too?

But, we can tell you that many people feel this way. It's real to them, not over commercialized, nor too touristy. (Which is what the phrase "Real" Bahamas eludes to).
