UBERLY FREAKING AWESOME AND CUTE...^w^... I LOVE SERVALS...they ish just way to dang cute...XD...i SOOO want one as a pet, even though they are not completely tame yet... i found out about em from a good friend on F.A. and i have loved them sence...^w^ they are just way too dang cute...
who ever is the person in this video is sooo lucky that they had the chance to play with them, i congratulate you...and thank you for the video...
Are these servals yours, or do they belong to somebody else? If these are yours, you are so lucky! God's created many interesting animals....and these are very unique cats. I would like to be able to handle and care for servals myself...maybe one of these days, who knows. They are beautiful wild cats! :D
I hope you feed those roosters to the cats. ugggh how annoying. I guess you're used to it. And I'm only kidding. I don't suggest feeding a rooster to a cat. Much less a wild African Serval.
lol; I liked it when u freaked, when he got between your thighs. Servals are great, I've been thinking about getting one (one day). I just need a better enclosure, and money. Might as well make a little sanctuary, if it comes to that.
They are wild animals and should be left alone, seriously, I don't care if they have tame ones. You should adopt a cat because those poor kitties are always euthanized and have no homes. I hate seeing pets homeless.
they are not taken out of the wild they are within many generations of being bred by humans, yes its sad there are cats with no homes , but the main problem with that is irresponsible people who dont spay and neuter thier house cats are to blame. and those people who take on a house cat not thinking of the fact it means for life. the innocent people who do right should not be blamed
I have never been a cat person, but since I got into photography I think they are so beautiful! I love these cats now and would love to get one, but you cant get them here in Australia. Imagine the damage these cats could do if they get into the wild. I have mixed feelings about these beautiful animals making in to the country. But never the less, they are just magestic!
I absolutely LOVE servals. I found out they are legal in PA with a permit, but you must have 2 years experience with the animal! How can I get 2 years experience with a serval if there are none near me? lol
Are there any exotic cat rescue shelters or small zoos/animal parks in your vicinity? If you volunteer at a place like that that would probably count- but look into the local regulations for your fish and game department. ^_^
you have to treat them with respect like a little human, and they will treat you with respect. however their personality alters at dinner time, you want to leave them be when they are eating. just as you watch lions on the discovery channel, the pride gets along fine until dinner time, then they might bite there own sister, but after diner its back to normal lol
nah , they are like 2-4k ). the hard part is making a sutible enclosure and keeping up with quality food, because they like raw chicken an beef an you have to mix vitamins with it. oh yea an living in an area that allows them
Any of you people who think of fur coats when see these cats ARE SICK. How would you like to be skinned and have things made out of them? why can't you respect nature and what it has intended for us and its creatures? These FURS are ONLY MEANT to stay on THE CATS. GOT IT?????

I've Been Thinking About Getting A Savannah But I Really Have Had My Heart Set On A Serval. I'm Going To Get One Or The Other For Sure By Springtime, But I Wanted To Know If You Knew Any Serval Breeders And Around How Much They Typically Charge
I've kept Savannahs for the past 4 years (an F5, an F2 and and F1 - check my vids) - I also *love* servals and seriously considered buying and raising one from a kitten. After years of research and speaking w. breeders, I decided against it and I'd highly recommend that most people not keep servals as pets unless they're willing make the *serious* commitment required to raise one properly.
You can have a serval spayed/neutered, but many of they will never stop spraying (there are exceptions). An outdoor pen (with secure roof), is needed for them to stay in at least some of the time. Some may tell you "cat food" is ok, but they'd be wrong. Servals need raw meat + special vitamin supplements if you want them to stay healthy.
Are these wild cats that people want cross bred for pets?.What about the Bengals? I thought they were 4 generations away from wild??? Your cat sounds like one of my siamese. We just put down my 21 yr siamese. We're thinking of getting a Bengal? How are they with an Alpha siamese male?
I own an exotic animal rescue with about 16 big cats, 20 monkeys, six bears, six wolves, 30 exotic hoof stock, 20 farm animals, 30 small mammals, 20 birds, and fifty reptiles. I am currently in the process of expanding in order to take in abouts twice that many animals.
cool. unless you want the animals an dont want to give them away you can arrange an adoption program maybe. if your in a state that requires a permit people can volunteer at your place for thier permit for thier animal there working for or somethin like that. theres so many loveing, willing an adequet homes out there
Your cats look really awesome! Although these cats are wild animals but they look soooo playful, so why do you need a permit for? They are nearly the size of a normal house cat (or slightly bigger) and I think they are not a threat to anyone. Is the permit because they are just classified as 'wild' animals or beacause they are dangerous?
well , the permit is good cause theres some stuff you need to know before getting one, like important food requirements , training an so forth , an they just wanna make sure people know what there getting into i guess, cause its very hard to re-home them because they only really love there first owners. i dont think it has anything to do with danger though because i know many many more dogs much more vicous then these guys, these guys would rather hide then attack.
no, there not mine they belong to the santuary i volunteer at, but i am getting on when i get my permit. the serval if its raised by you will be the most loveing, an life changeing experience you can have with an animal, but you have to know how to raise it an train it properly which you learn when you volunteer. you learn how to read them, an train them. but they get very attached to only one person so if you ever get one its a comitment for the rest of its life or it will be heartbroken

What is it like just living with a Serval day to day? Can you get them fixed so that they don't spray? I've heard that they need exotic food.
Why can't you just start giving them milk as a kitten and then milk plus meat and cat food as an adult, which is what you would give a house cat?
I bet that you need a really big ball os some kind to keep them happy !!
