@Jekatherina Many of us in Latin America like Baroque music in general, but since there are not many ensambles playing it in our countries, we're big YouTube's videos consumers! (In my case I'm fan of Les Arts Florissants, Jordi Savall, Europa Galante, Amandine Beyer and others). Students of music here use these videos as reference of interpretation. That's maybe the reason of your big quantity of latin comments. :)

Jordi and Arianna Savall are popular in Estonia too (my personal favourites!). Also Baroque music, but not as widely as in your countries I suppose :) May-be in the times when Europe is loosing interest in it's previous culture it is kept and even newly found in other parts of the world (for example Asia).

@Jekatherina I'm not so sure Europe is loosing interest in it. Never had been a such big revival of Antique and Baroque music as in the present times there. Of course it is not massive but it's important and of high quality. Look at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis, for example. Also L'Arpeggiatta with Christina Pluhar, and Orphenica Lyra are doing great things.

@Jekatherina Yes...If it there were more difussion maybe the audience would become larger. Look what happened with the film "Tous les matins du monde"... Many youths discovered viola da gamba and music of this period thanks to the movie and wanted to study it after watching the film... :) It's abouth political culture, to take care of the cultural patrimony instead of big corporations...as always. Here we're beginning to do it with tango, fortunately...
