Shivers 1 & 2 sind voll Genial, man taucht richtig in das Spiel ein. Man denkt wirklich man bewegt sich selber in Museum. Von mir aus gesehen hat shivers das geschaft was Myst immer versucht hatte, die Spieler in das game richtig einzubizehen. Scfhon der sound in den Einzelnen Räumen ist genial. Ich Liebe Myst aber Shivers ist echt besser, wer es nicht kennt sofort kaufen und Spielen :-)

I just played it through again. I first played it in 2nd grade, it felt so sophisticated! (But to me it's a classic anyway)

Have played this game through 3 times or so, at varying ages, the first time when i was 10, and i still love it, one of the best games ever made, at least in its genre. And the fact it gathers up a lot of myths in one and the same place... I'd love to visit that museum if there ever would exist one like it. Ixupi-free one, that is :|

Anyone ever have thios happen to them in the game? One time, trying to get the lid of the pot that you can trap the oil one in, eventually got into that "underground" area, and of course, guess where it was? on the iother side. problem is, despite my best efforts, every time i went across to get it, that damn oil Ixupi kept appearing. Even if I got it to appear in the other area, it still went back down to block me.

one thing I've learned is that you can play the game on win xp. when you install the game, just skip the part that has it chek to see if it wkill work on your system, then just go along with the rest. it really does work

It works on my XP system without any problems... without installing. You can just copy the CD to HD, start Sierraw.exe and it works off HD.

Works the same way under Wine, just don't install.

Still one of my fav games :-)

anyone know where to download this? i tryed some torrent sites that connected me to limewire, which took like 5 days on my vista, and it didnt open. i then tryed it on my xp (yes, i know vista doesnt work and XP does) and it took like 2 minutes, but still didnt open. it says "select the progam you wish to open this with from a list" or some bs like that. so yeah, where i get a good download from?

@animejunkey32 I've managed to get Shivers 1 to run on Vista. All you have to do is put the CD into your computer, go into it on Windows Explorer and copy all the files from inside the CD into an empty folder on your computer. Then, once that's done, go into the folder which you copied all the stuff into, and double click on "SIERRAW.EXE". It should run fine from there! =)
