I'm vegetarian, but I am NOT against other people eating animals. People can make their own decisions about their diet, as well as wearing fur, etc. I personally don't see the point in vegans/vegetarians trying to force people into their way of life through guilt. I made my choice about my lifestyle and beliefs, we should have the respect to allow others to do the same.
I consider a group that does bombings and arson in the name of animals to be a terrorist group. PETA is opposed to animal testing, even if animal testing found a cure for AIDS. that is sick to put the life of rats above that of humans. 6000 people in Africa die of AIDS every day, killing rats is worth all those lives.

They have criticized so called "no-kill shelters", because they do not end the suffering of dogs or cats with incurable conditions and often have to turn away pets due to overcrowding, leading their owners to kill them is more painful ways.

Whether you are for the movement, against it, or don't have an opinion, you HAVE to watch this film. I'm still numbed by watching it so it may take me awhile to explain how it affected me. But, wow. PETA doesn't oppose euthanasia. All the animals they put down were suffering from incurable pain. They have criticized so called "no-kill shelters", because they do not end the suffering of dogs or cats with incurable conditions and often have to turn away pets due to overcrowding, leading their owners to kill them is more painful ways.
I'm not a PETA fan, but this meme is inaccurate.

I actually wouldn't have that big of a problem with PETA euthanizing the abused animals that they rescue provided that they do it humanely. When I say humanely I don't mean gassing them in the back of a van by means of a hose from the exhaust pipe to the window then throwing their carcasses in a dumpster, PETA's current model of euthanasia.

Your grains and cereals are fortified with B12, that's a supplement.
My conversation with Elle, on another page, wasn't about the luxury afforded modern vegans, it was about man in his purest form before science gave us alternatives in our diet. Animal byproducts were imperative to man's survival before we had the means to replicate the vitamins and nutrients that they provide.
Simple biology dictates that we had to get those things from somewhere, and that somewhere was animals.

humans are supposed to eat meat, explain the fact that we have an appendix which creates enzymes to break down meat and is also made to break down bones. what about our teeth very similar to a bear which is a omnivore. and you statement saying you are stronger and healthier than me is bull crap. a meat eater can be one of the most healthiest on the planet, chicken and fish are very very healthy for you, also red meat is not that bad if it is prepared right.
