  • You won't really appreciate the screen unless you see it yourself. Remember, video cameras capture at lower frame rates, and video sites compress files, lowering even more the frame rate of the video.

  • I'm getting angry about how screens are slowly becoming substitutes for actual pictures and paintings. It's getting harder and harder to find frames that aren't screens and now, if these giant screens go on sale, everyone will flaunt them as if they were real paintings.

  • I think he is looking at a artists point of view, Painters would essentially be low funded since they just make one painting, slap it on a computer and put it in a few dozen memory slots for screen. No origonal artwork at this point.

  • it's supposed to be true that you can't see that speed but it's not true. it's probably the same people that said we'd never fill 20gb hard drives. i've seen 120hz tv's and i see the difference. there's less flicker, more realistic motion. so whoever said that we can't see above 30fps is wrong.

  • i find those window hd tv's useless.

    if they were actually trying to recreate the ability of looking out a window then they should wait till the hologram age.

    the 2d image will always stay the same no matter which direction you are looking at it. destroying the illusion. bah.
