  • Reason why the radio sucks.. never hear ETH on there.

  • They're Scottish Canadian. I think only one member was born in Scotland. Great music.

  • nice

  • They are Canadian.

  • cool to hear a bunch of versions of classic Irish folk tunes like this one.

  • Awesome song! Makes me want to go to Dublin.

  • One of my favorites!!

  • Lets Jst Saay Irish Is Daa Best Place Ny1 Cud Ever B :)

  • Last night I was cooking at a friend's house and this song came on and we broke out dancing. I passed out afterward but it was worth it :)

  • If Haggis came to NC, maybe there's a ghost of a chance they'l come to Tennessee? Chattanooga would be ideal. More than ideal. It would make the greatest day of my frigging life.

  • @gaelicwolf I'm working on gettin' them to Knoxville, lol.

  • Jasus, that version is some pile of shite.

  • PUT THAT IN YOUR PIPE AND SMOKE IT

  • And @BarryBurtonfan, funny thing is, non of them are gay. Loll.

  • @Viperboy64000 Never. The picture will never change, nor will you get your money back. Sorry.

  • Picture doesn't CHANGE?! I WANT MY MONEY BACK.

  • @Viperboy64000 You'll be gettin' fuck all.

  • @Nillbugwtw Actually, my best friend has every single one of their CDs and they're coming out with one this month so, they really aren't impossible to find. You just have to look in the right places. :D

  • @phantomofthegeckos Thanks for the tip. I'll start checking all the pubs first.

  • very nice; I had heard of the song via Dropkick Murphys' Flannigan's Ball, which is awesome too. :)

  • Thank you for uploading this! I'm an Irish Step Dancer and I would like to practice at home. Which album is this off of?

  • @cmagjdillaquint This is off one of their earliest albums, called "Aerials." It is a bit tricky to find... but it's out there.

  • this song always makes me hungry.

  • I first heard ETH on my local PBS station here in Cleveland several years ago, and nearly fell out of my chair when I heard them. I wrote and told them so and they were gracious enough to actually write back and thank me for my nice comments. What a great bunch of very talented and humble young men. I wish them every future success!

  • FUCK YAH IM IRISH IM GAY MY NAME IS DAN

  • @ghostinthamachine888

    righteous bro montana

  • These guys are DA SHIT!

  • the intro is really cool....awesome song!!!!!

  • my 1st experience with this band was a few years ago at the Purple Fiddle in Thomas, WV - they're great!- didnt have enough money then to get a cd but i most defiantly will be picking up one or two this time - love them!!!

  • ..... greatest song every created??? my heart just stopped.....

  • am I the only one who thinks Enter The Haggis looks like a Canadian Linkin Park?

  • @MonickerL hahahaha I was thinking that too!

  • I met them!

  • epic.

  • My second nAme is lanigan :D sure if there's any more from Ireland-Kilkenny or galway comment here :) x

  • What I love about the fiddle playing is that it's so dirty and still ornamented like hell. It brings up shades of Ashley Macisaac. There are a good number of bands that have covered this song, including most notably Fiddler's Green....and I like both the ETH version and the (much cleaner) FG version, for totally different reasons. I'll probably learn the song from the FG version, but I aspire to eventually sound like this.

  • haggard haggis

  • "lanigan's ball" from Fiddler's Green is better I find

  • But can you head bang to it? lol

  • The only time I've ever heard it called Flannigans ball is on the Dropkick Murphy's Album where it was (F)lannigan's ball. Otherwise I've always seen it spelle "Lanigan's"

  • Wohohohoooo! Love this!

  • holy shit good song my name is Paschal Lanigan haha

  • absolutely stunning

  • wow. love their sound.

  • very cool sound

    DJ iMaxx

  • whyyy arent they coming to nc on there tour!!! ugh :(

  • been a fan of these guys forever! wish they would do more southwest concerts...

  • agreed.

  • ótima versão!

  • wat album is this from?????

  • Comment removed

  • its of fthe Aeralis album. i don't think they have it on the website anymore

  • it is also on the first live album, i believe called Live! It is the second song after Hava Nagila/Scotland the Brave.

  • It's from Aeralis, though that's pretty hard to get. They also have it on their PBS special, Lanigans Ball (hence the name)

  • Aerials, I mean. typo.

  • @Nillbugwtw Aerials is hard to get? I've had it for years now...weird.

  • @hanitiakeys831 The physical CD itself is nearly impossible to get, yeah. The digital download you can get on their website of course, but the CD, nope. Impossible.

  • @hanitiakeys831 Unfortunately, yes. Aerials and Let the Wind Blow High were never really released in America, so they are difficult for stateside fans to find.

  • Just saw them tonight in Utica NY at Saranac Thursdays outdoor venue. High Energy Show. I love this band very much...

  • wonderful! thanks for posting this!! 5stars!

  • This is terrific! Thanks for putting it up. :) It sounds like the song ends a couple seconds too early -- am I just mishearing things, or has YouTube cut it off somehow? Pity, if so.

  • IM A LANIGAN! GO ON DA LANIGANS!

  • I really love this song. my friend showed them to me last year and i was like WHOAAAAA

  • It sounds funny but i really spent 6 months in dublin to learn irish dance

  • I'm seeing them tomorrow night in Tampa! I can't wait!

  • I saw them in Tallahssee, last night, 1st time, I came in not knowing anything about them and came out a fan, kinda like Dropkick Murphy's Lite!

  • I love these guys! The first time I went to a concert was at the Hidaway BBQ as well. Loved it! I sat at a bar table behind the crowd. :) ~Meg

  • Great group. I've seen them is concert three times now. Wonderful performance. Great fiddler player, cute too.

  • his name is brian,

  • damn good version

  • this son is one of their bests

  • my second name is lanigan wooo

  • me too! nice

  • I saw them in My home town at the Festival in the park, they blew my mind, one of the best performences ive seen from a band in a long time

  • i think i have a new favorite band... :o

  • Someone introduced me to this song, and now I think the exact same thing! :)

  • Enter the Haggis is the best band ever!!! They are always in town on my birthday weekend at this little pub we are regulars at, I've met them like 3 times, they're cool guys

  • you better believe they're cool guys, I grew up with Brian, awesome guy, his family is really cool too. This was the first CD that Brian gave me, a lot of good times to this band for sure.

  • a friend got me hooked on ETH. now I can't get enough of them! and Trevor looks soooo familiar to me.

  • I like the other version of this better....but the part at 1:53 or so is awesome.

  • whenever I get the time, I plan on posting some clips from their live DVD, probably another version of Lanigan's Ball. also Gasoline and congress. and of course, Donald Where's Your Trousers.

  • OMG LOVE ETH!!!

  • spot on.
