All v-8 deisels are short lived. CAT had the 3208 Cummins had the V555. It does not matter the makes them it is a week design. They don't take a constant pull and they don't go the miles. If International built a in-line 6 Ford would be alot better off. fx4 is an off-road suspension thats just a normal 4x4. true they both do the same thing but the fx4 is just a little higher set than a normal 4x4.

yes so does the reg 4x4 with either the 3.73 or 4.somethin gear ratio. my super duty has a limited slip dif on it

fx4 has the all time drive all 4 tires spin together along with the different suspension so it would have made a little bit of a difference

Wrong, the back wheels are lockable with FX-4, but the front wheels are an open diff.

only sound i can hear out of the engine in the vid is from the exhaust and that is just from being straight piped... unless u were hearing one of the 4wheelers in the background

ok now i know what your talking about that sounded like boost backing up in the turbo.. happens when u build alot of boost at low speed then completely let off the throttle the engine slows faster than the turbo... happend alot in my old 99 cummins when towing heavy but was more of a barking sound

Oh, alright, cause i had this on my 04' and it does it on my 06' powerstroke and i was trying to figure it out, i think your right cause the only time it really ever did it was after a screwed up burnout or i let go of the gas during a brakestand.

Kyle got a sweet truck. Should get some lockers tho. Or, a trick I learned is when you are spinnin in 4 wheel drive with a limited slip, tap the brakes lightly and other wheel will spin.
