@bassetter1 Yep and also some velcro to the limbs (under the string). I will tune it if i start shooting more with this :) I am so hooked to longbows at the moment so this bow is resting pretty much.
Hei, mistä oot näin hienon jousun saanu ittelles hankittua? Ootko ostanut jostain vai jopa tehnyt itse? Itsekki haluaisin ostaa jostain hyvän vastakaarijousen, olisko sulla jotain hyviä neuvoja?
@ejabali90 Terve. En osaa jousia tehdä itse, valitettavasti. Tämä on Skotlantilaisen maineikkaan Border Archery- firman tuotoksia, malli on tuo Khan. Sieltä tilaamalla niitä saa. Tai sitten jos sattuu joku myymään jossain alan foorumilla, kuten esim SJML:n sivustoilla.
thats is a beauti of a bow ! I notice your waggling when you pulling that monster ;) I had the same problem when i had my recurve bow, before i had a longbow too. I am not sure, but i believe, it is a matter of weight and the " missing " handshock, and therefore i believe you can hold that ow strong in your hand.
Thanks. You maight be right. It really is strange feeling because the missing handshock and it feels like numb.....i can not feel exactly when the arrow lets off the string. And it is effecting suprisingly much to my accuration. Well.... I just have to practise ;)
Good notice. NO it is not the bow. This is my technique and it has purpose. After testing, thinking, trying, and again thinkin i have created this style and i have found it most accurate (for me). I dont mean i am "first and only in the world" shooting with this kind of release but as i don´t have teachers i have tested it carefully and turned to release this way. It is the most relaxed techique to soot (for me).
The group at 3:00 is awesomely awesome (even with the fingers issue) . If someday you clock the speed of those arrows with the khan please let me know, because they look really fast.
Very acurate doll hair doing :)). and thanks for showing that form I'm taking notes of the release technic.
This was my first touch with legacys and they feels very good! Suprisingly good. I have not tryed them yet with my longbow but i believe i am going to like these so much that i will turn to these arrows. Only problem can be that how durable they are. But they are easiest to cut, cheaper than carbon. Heavy enough for my bows and good looking. You know mr Byron Ferguson is shooting these arrows and if he like them, we propably should believe they are ok LOL
Thank you! And if i can shoot, everyone can if they just practise correctly. So just go for it and you have to believe your own skills and practise with thoughts. I blelive that everyone who has interest to this hobby and are patient can shoot these shots. Take a look of my friend Wilsbow for example. He started under a year ago and now he is quite good with his bow. Just go for it and believe your self.
it looks as you inhale, when you draw the bow and hold your breath to after the shot, I have had the idea that i should exhale and then hold my breath,
That is true. I inhale when i draw to get oxygen to my muscles to hold the weight and then i exhale just a littlebit and hold untill i release. Exhaling is one part of relaxing-process to get good release but i have to hold it too just a bit before release to get it my body steady. If i exhale all the time my body is moving because lungs are going empty. Thanks my friend.
Ai olet suomesta, parempi näin, mistä ostit nuo nuolesi:)?

bloody hell!!!...that bow has some power in it...
Boshyworld 2 years ago
Yes it is one of the fastest bows of BorderArchery, meaning that it sould be quite competitive in speed in whole world.
I just have some work to do with it. It is not so forgiving than my longbows, so i have to be very careful with my release... Thanks for watching.

I notice you draw past your anchor point then settle into it. Is this because it's a new bow or do you do this all the time?
