I hate the English dubs! They sound wrong and they pronounce the names wrongly. Natsume = Natsumay...

Actually that is the correct way to pronounce it. I've taken two years of Japanese and it's my sensei's title. She pronounces it Nah-tzu-May.

She must have an accent then as in "proper" Japanese it's nat-TSU-me. An 'S' sound.

I've heard the stress on the NAT-tsu-ME, from Natsume Yuujinshou. (Nyanko sensei shouts it all the time)

It seriously varies on the dialect and where the people are from. Just like english has different sounds and such, so does Japanese. There is no ONE way to do something.

are you sure it wasn't just a voice over for a trailer or something? because i'm pretty sure there isn't an eng dub otherwise it would be on the dvds.

sorry for the like, 3rd reply but i got this off of wikipedia "The anime was translated and dubbed into English by the anime television network Animax, and the dubbed version has been broadcast on networks throughout Asia"  man i wish i could watch it dubbed to see how it's like, i wonder why rightstuf didn't license that version T_T

No thank you. I tend to stay away from the "Supermarket Romance Novel" type of anime. Plus, the fact that it has vampires in it is a big no for me.

I loved Maria Watches Over Us and The Best Student Council so I'm really looking forward to this. My only concern though is that because this is was licensed through Enoki Films that this could be the tv masters instead of the dvd source. Hopefully this is not the case.
